depending on what your purpose/ priorities are:
if you want to save money and struggles, go for the spectacles (also known as eye glasses).
if you do a lot of physical activities, then contact lenses are the best. Also if you have to look down a lot, as when it comes to cooking or assembling stuff, spectacles tend to get loose because of gravity and sweat combined. Those kind ofactivitieswould be best suited for contact lenses.
for Photography, welding or chemistry labs, definitely contact lenses are best to use.
even though contact lenses are verybeneficialin manyaspects, if you are not careful enough, or veryhygienic, it could come at a very high cost to your visualcapabilities resulting in eye infection and worst case scenario in blindness.
Spectacles will have as thin or thick lenses as needed to to give the wearer good vision. But sinsce heavy spectacles are more uncomfortable to wear than lighter ones, opticians generally tries to make the lenses as thin as possible.
People who face irritation and are no comfortable..shud not wear lenses..and stick to spectacles..
Contact lenses are a personal choice. It's up to the 'patient' to decide whether they want to wear spectacles - or switch to contact lenses. There are no publicly-available records to show the figures for spectacles v lenses.
Spectacle means glasses, mostly contacts or lenses. If you wear glasses, you are wearing spectacles.
The usual treatment for farsightedness is corrective lenses (spectacles or contact lenses).
by cleaning the specs
Spectacles is an older word for eyeglasses. If spectacles were opaque, no one could see through the lenses. The glass (now plastic) used in spectacles must be clear and without scratches.
We use corrective lenses in spectacles. Near sight is corrected with diverging lenses and far sightedness with converging lenses.
They are also known as "glasses", lenses in a frame held in front of the eyes to help people with impaired vision to see better.
You can be fitted with contact lenses or if an candidate have laser surgery.
A pair of spectacles is a pair of lenses set in a frame worn on the nose and ears in order to correct deficiencies in eyesight.
