I would hope so! Real friends wouldn't make their friends do anything they didn't want to. Sexual experimentation is not unusual between friends, but you need to remember some basic rules:

1. Sex should be responsible. That means you should know about sexually transmitted diseases, preventing pregnancy, the physical and emotional effects of sex. You are responsible for your partner and yourself -- play safe!
2. Sex should be consensual. That means you both have the right to say "No" and the responsibility to hear it. That means no seduction. That means not making promises you don't intend to keep. That means no lies. That means no coercion, no taking advantage of a superior position (teacher/student, doctor/patient, minister/congregant -- that sort of thing). And it means understanding that minors cannot give informed consent.
3. Sex should be equitable -- if only one person is enjoying it, you're doing something wrong.

A person is gay if they are sexually or romantically attracted to the same sex. Their sexual fantasies will mostly be about the same sex, and they have been like that for some time. That's how they know.
