I would not recommend living near a power station because of the increase in "dirty electricity" and/or unfriendly electromagnetic frequencies you would have more exposure to.
However, we don't always have a choice on where to live. I am moving near a power station myself this year -- but will not say more than a year because of the power station.
Some things you can do to help alleviate problems from living near an electrical power plant include "grounding" or "earthing" technologies. The Earth has a natural frequency of its own that when we are connected to it -- whether with bare feet or with grounding technology (such as the grounding sheets and grounding or earthing mats available at different places online including LongevityWarehouse dotcom) the harmful electromagnetic frequences (EMFs) are pulled or pushed off your body.
I use a grounding sheet that I keep pinned to the top of the top sheet on my bed using a few safety pins around the sides. It has a connector that goes into the grounding hole in the electrical socket and when two green lights go on it is letting you know that the grounding wire is working. For people without grounding wires set up in their homes and sockets, you can get a "grounding rod" which you insert into the ground next to your home, and snake the (probably copper) write up through your bedroom window to your grounding sheet, which is preferably made of cotton that is threaded also with silver or copper threads.
I also use a grounding matt that looks a bit like a black rubber placemat under my feet when I am at my computer. In this way by having at least one bare foot on that mat all the time, I am protecting my body very much from the harmful EMFs -- whether I am near a power station or not.
I highly recommend that if you do live near a power station -- and even if you don't -- that you consider getting a grounding sheet for your baby. It is also very likely to help your baby to sleep better! I hope that helps. (Note: I am not getting any kickback for telling you this. I am telling you the truth as I know it.)

Frayed cables can be highly dangerous. If they are weight bearing cables, the fray can cause a loss of integrity and failure of the cable. The fray itself can cause punctures and lacerations. If the cable is carrying any charge, the fray can result in a failure of the insulation and possible electric shock.
Wind power is a type of power that produces no pollution and does not use up any resources. That is what we need, to avoid harming the environment in which we live.

If you are a tiny baby in the womb, yes. If you are a human being who's been born, and you weigh a pound, you are dead.
