You have been separate from your spouse for ten years how long will a divorce take to go through?

As it sounds like you already now, it does not matter how long you are separated from your spouse you need to file for divorce in order to be divorced. That being said, after being separated for so long, some elements of the divorce will be easier (the financial aspect, the fact that you both want to get divorced) but if yours is a situation that has complicated finances, children, or alimony then it could still take some time.

Is Jamal Bryant getting a divorce?

Actually, yes he is. If you go to the Maryland Judiciary Case Search site: http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/inquiry/inquiry-index.jsp ...and enter his name (It may be easier to enter Gizzelle's so you don't have to sort through the paternity suits and such) you'll see on January 09, 2008 he filed for "Limited Divorce" and his wife filed for an "Absolute Divorce". You can visit this link to read up on the differences: http://www.sailor.lib.md.us/md/docs/divorce/limit_absolute.txt

We have both agreed to get a divorce and have no children and no alimony involved. how long will the divorce process take?

The fact that you both agree to the divorce will make this divorce a lot easier and possibly a bit faster. You can file an uncontested divorce.

How did the 1969 divorce reform act make it easier for couples to divorce?

Prior to this reform, both parties had to agree to a divorce and a divorce would not be granted if it meat one of the parties should receive state benefits following the divorce.

What if spouse refuses to sign divorce papers in minnesota?

then your not divorced Or you should talk to your spouse about it if you guys really want to divorce or not. If the spouse does not want to accept the divorce papers, that spouse still cares for you. Then you should talk about getting back or settle things and talk to him/her about the divorce papers. If you do not care for your spouse then talk to that spouse gently and maturely about it If you are sure about the divorce but your spouse refuses to sign talk to a lawyer. in almost every state (if not every state) there is a way to get a divorce anyway it usually involves setting up a hearing. then they try to serve him/her the papers for the hearing if he/she does not respond within a certain period of time then the divorce is granted otherwise you might have a legal battle on your hands. However i believe in California it is not required to have your spouse sign the papers (do some research though to be sure) if that is true you might be able to go file for your divorce there however i still recommend talking to a lawyer about possible options where you live since its easier.

How can you tell if your mom and dad are getting a divorce?

Your boyfriend and you have lived together for 3 years he is married and said that he wants to divorce his wife he has not so far why does he not divorce her?

Why should he? He's getting all that he needs from you AND his wife, without getting a divorce. That is much, much easier than the bitter confrontation that would result from his telling his wife that he wants a divorce. This might be an opportunity for you. Rather than being a bummer situation, you can say that you have learned much from this guy, and move on to a better situation, where, with any luck, you can shack up with a single guy. Maybe he just wants someone he can come home to and someone to cook his dinner and love on him.He using you!

Are a levels getting easier?

No harder

Is death harder or easier?

Death is actually easier unfortunatlly. Life is harder.

You are a federal inmate in SC who wants a divorce from your wife in NC?

Just wait until you get out, or if she wants it too it'd be a whole lot easier for her to file for it since she's not stuck in jail. ADDED: I notice that your question doesn't mention that SHE wants a divorce from you. Although it would probably be easier for her to file for divorce in NC (if she even wants one) it IS possible for you to do it 'Pro Se' while in federal custody in SC (It's a little more difficult - But HEY, you've got nothing but time, right?). If she wishes to contest your request for divorce and if the two of you have any children it could really open a can of worms. If you have access to any legal aid while in prison see if you can get an appointment to talk with them. You aren't the first person to ever get divorced while in jail, so, it CAN be done.
