Is it easy for a seventh day adventist to get into Loma Linda University School of medicine?

Some people in the church think it is, but since it is a university there are certain criteria that is looked upon (grades, previous courses, where on the waiting list they may be on).
I know someone who is a 4th generation Adventist, their father went to LLU and has his medical degree from LLU, but tried for two years straight to enter into their medical school.
