I say no. I'm a lot older than 22 and I love me some cartoons. When I was growing up I loved watching shows like Transformers, GI Joe and Thunder cats. And when I got older I still enjoyed shows like Sailor Moon, Robotech and of course the classic like Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones. Still to this day when I'm twice your age I still enjoy the classics but now a days my true love is Anime. Some of those shows could easy win an Oscar or two on just effects alone but throw in a very good story and you have a guaranteed smash hit.
The way I look at it is some people like watching reality TV some prefer watching nothing but dramas. To each their own I say. You should be able to watch anything you find entertaining and you shouldn't have to feel embarrassed about it.

I don't know, I'm 17 (almost 18) and I watch cartoons and no one gives me a hard time really. Maybe they just don't understand, alot of adults get the mentality that cartoons are for kids, try getting them to watch family guy one time then they can't say cartoons are only for kids.
