Yes, it can be. I have a problem right now....I'm 18 years old, and I haven't ever been able to use tampons (since I started my cycle at age 12). Whenever I try, it's incredibly painful. About a week ago, my boyfriend and I tried having sex for the first time, and he only got about an inch in before I would feel intense pain, so we just stopped and decided to be patient and try again later. I went to the OBGYN twice this week, and yesterday she referred me to a hospital where I can have it surgically removed - she believes my problem is that I have either a semi-perforate hymen, or it's just incredibly thick. In any case, she's told me that I should only be knocked out for about 5-10 minutes, and it'll be sore and possibly bleed a little for 1-2 days after, but once I'm past that, tampon use and sexual intercourse should not be a problem. Anyways, hope that answers it! I'm not sure if there are any other reasons to have it surgically removed unless it's not "normal," like mine.
Yes. When she was younger she had her butt surgically removed for a professional cleaning.
If the girl hasn't ever been penetrated before she usually has unbroken hymen. When the penis enters the vagina it breaks the hymen causing bleeding. How old is the girl in quesiton?
You don't have a cherry and nothing pops, this is a childish term to descrihbe the hymen tearing - the hymen is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening, although it can allow penetration without it tearing if penetration is rough or forced it can sometimes tear. The hymen tearing has absolutely no relation what-so-ever with your menstrual cycle or when you get your period.
They are not being removed! There are more now then ever before.
Hymen Bean invented chalk in 1896. or so everyone says. Did he invent it or discover it KNOW ONE will ever know.
No, it's not necessary.
No.
You don't have a cherry and nothing pops, this is a childish term for the hymen tearing - the hymen is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening, it can tear as a result of vaginal penetration but not always as it doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and it is flexible so can stretch to allow penetration. The hymen has absolutely no relation to menstruation what-so-ever, menstruation is controlled by your reproductive cycle.
They DID live happily ever after
i have had a chain attached to my tooth under the gum for 3 years now and it has still not come through the gum. all my other teeth are now straight with a gap waiting for the tooth to come through. if you ever get the decision to either have a tooth surgically removed or a chain attached to pull it through, have it taken out! it takes FOREVER
you can get the IUD removed when ever you want it pervents you from getting your period
There's no such thing as 'devirginity' - you are a virgin, or you're had sex.A virgin is someone who has not had sex, it is a social construct not a physical state of being - it's nothing more than a word. You are a virgin up until you have sex with another person, tampons are not another person and using tampons is not sex...thus tampons do not change you being a virgin.Tampons can tear the hymen but it's unlikely - the hymen is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening, there's normally enough room for a tampon to fit through, and the hymen is flexible so will stretch to accommodate larger items - the hymen is usually only torn from rough or forced penetration. Even if torn the hymen has absolutely nothing what-so-ever to do with virginity, it's just skin.
