Let me elaborate. I have a cat that kind of keeps to herself and I brought her to California with me about a year ago. She seemed happy. She played with toys, ate well, etc... I made the mistake of trying to get her a friend about 6 months ago. My girlfriend and I thought that she would be happier if she had a friend to play with while we werent there. We were very wrong. These cats do not get along at all! The new one tries to play with the first one, but the original cat hates the new cat so much she has lost her voice a few times from crying and hissing. We have had the new cat for at least 4 months and nothing has gotten any better. Now the only times the original cat seems happy is when we separate the cats in different rooms. We have a 1 bedroom apartment and cannot keep them separated forever. The original cat has gotten really skinny because the new cat eats her food. We have given the original cat food in a different room and given her wet food to try and get her wait back up, but it isnt really working. She is too depressed to eat well. Her mood is not good.
My girlfriend and I dont know what to do. Both cats are very nice. We feel responsible for the new cat. That we should keep it and make sure it has a good life, but we cant do this forever. The new cat is very nice to us and even to the old cat. The old cat just hates her. Has anyone else dealt with this?
Both cats are spayed and up to date on shots. The old one was unfortunately declawed before we knew how bad it was to do. The new one has claws and that causes problems as well.
help!
Should we get rid of the new cat? How do we do it in a way that we know that she has a better life than we can provide?
The female cat is sad for the first few days but then gets over it. =)
Yes it is legal although you should make sure the next owner(s) know so they can give them to the cat.
I have actually looking for a free cat in burlington contact me if you want afroza.miah@yahoo.com
We used to give our cat before we gave it away but IAM's dry cat food is good provided you give it more water than you would averagely and this means cleaning is less messier
Using their fans for sex that, to be fair, most of them give away
Yes, a slight advantage in size but its the presence of 'hands' and the ability to grapple that give it the real advantage. We are, of course, talking about a house cat. An Ocelot or a Tiger Cat would fair much better.
In many states, 8 weeks old is the minimum.
If this has happened take your cat to the vet immediately! This is a serious injury and should be handled by a vet. The vet can clean and treat the wound. They will give your cat antibiotics to insure deadly infection does not set in, and will give your cat safe medications to alleviate pain. It is not fair to make the cat suffer by not taking it to a vet, and human pain medication is usually lethal to cats. So do not try to medicate your cat yourself.
Kill the cat mwahahaha... ... unless you don't have the guts then just give it away or sell it ch ching!!!
Try hiding it in your cat's food or treat if its a pill. If its a liquid, have one person hold onto the cat so it can't run away, and have the other person give the cat the medicine.
its..................when the cat is away the mice will play..
Definately. When our cat has kittens we generally try to give them away at around 8 weeks.
