When you hear other people gossiping about your friends it is best to stay out of it. If you carry tales it makes you no better than the people who are talking about others behind their backs.

If anything would seriously hurt them or cause any problems or broken friendships, don't say those parts but if she finds out, this could cause your friend to not like you or not be your friend if they think they are keeping secrets from you. If someone is saying serious things, it is best to say but if not, then you can easily forget about it. If the talk is continuous, it would be best to deal with it by talking to the friend.

My best friend is out of school for the rest of the month with a concussion. A bunch of her "friends" were talking behind her back when I over heard. I told them if they didn't want a scene they'd shut up and never talk about her behind her back again. I know that the truth is always the right way but so is always being nice. Should I tell my best friend??? I mean she already has enough of drama when she comes back. Or what if her "friends" lie to her (like they will) and say I'm the one lying. My best friend would side would them because, she's just like that. Not to mention we're not as close as we used to be, but that doesn't mean I don't love her like a sister any more.
