In the front left bumper, forward of the wheel well. You will see a black box casing. You may hear it when the engine is not running.

There is no headlight relays for this year, I have the same vehicle and I was pissed to find out its hard wired directly through the headlight switch itself.
if you just pull on it real hard it should just pop out
Headlight dimming can be achieved by lifting the indicator switch gently up, if the headlights don't respond you have a problem. *WARNING do not take the switch apart, they are extremely hard to put back together, and are hard to find should you break it further*
There is one hex/torq bit srcew on the fender side of the headlight. it can be hard to get to. take out that one screw, then pull the headlight out, it is set on rails. install the opposite.
use the headlight switch to turn the headlights on and off. sounds like alot of work with reaching and flipping a switch and all, but you'll save the money you'd have spent on replacing the sensor that may or may not be bad (could be a wire has went bad too). but really, its not that hard to operate a headlight switch :)
There are screws that hold it in. Just remove them. actually there are two 6"-10" long medal slats located at the back of headlight unit under hood. they may be hard to pull on and are deffiantly hard to line up on re install.
I have a 2005 1500 and you have to pull the whole assembly out. There is a bolt that is really hard to get to on the bottom!
No there is not. I replaced mine on a 1999 and it wasn't to hard
