Hi, I have been crocheting for over 30 years and learned as a little girl. It is not hard to crochet. It is something that is learned one step or stitch at a time. There is a lot of how to information on the internet and many how to books to buy at book stores and craft stores such as Joanns.com.

I have a crochet shop that I sell items that I have crocheted or knit because I am disabled and need the extra income. I have Arthritis and fibromyalgia in my hands but I can still crochet and knit so anyone can do it. For me it is painful but I love to do it anyways so I recommend you take the time to learn it. When I learned I was taught by myself and it wasn't as easy as it is now.

I would recommend that you go to You Tube and search for "Videos on how to crochet"

You will be surprised how many you will find that actually show you step by step with the video example and they even talk to you when they are showing you. You can learn anything from a simple scarf to begin with and then go on to learn how to crochet hats and anything you want.
