Your latest EPR needs to be SRE if eligable. If you just started to try an make Senior after making Master, you stand no chance at all. The last thing that you have in your control is your test. The average test score is in the low 60's, so if you can score in the mis to high 80's that will make up for some time in grade/service points.

Ouch. He's not technically allowed to do that, but what do you expect when you've been in less than six months and get smart with someone who can retire today. Bottom line, the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps will salute a Lieutenant because it's required and proper, but no Lieutenant would try to throw their weight around or get mouthy with the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, nor should they.
