== depends if you want to get lung cancer or tongue and gum cancer. == No. It's still bad, though. If you want nicotine without the risk of tobacco, check out Commit nicotine lozenges. The effect is very similar to chewing but there's no spit, pre-cancerous placques, and so forth.

I believe not, since, as a matter of fact, I've chewed gum lots of times, and nothing has happened except my jaw gets a bit sore but it goes away in a moment; it's not bad since dentists believe that chewing *SUGAR FREE gum helps cut down plaque (especially the mint ones [gum{sugar free}]) whenever you chew gum after every meal.

*sugar free gum works better than sugared gum.

No. Unlike the problems seen with inhaling smoke from cigarettes or cigars, chewing tobacco releases substances within the mouth (and throat and esophagus) that tend to cause mouth, throat and stomach cancers .

i think that would be a matter of opinion... do you like smoking more than you like chewing? as far as health goes more people die from smoking tobacco but there are plenty of nasty side effects you can get from chewing tobacco ... like cancer of the mouth or gums

Yes.

The gum will absorb the carcinogens in the smoke and you will wind up swallowing them - even more than usual. You will add to your risk of oral, esophageal, and stomach cancers - to go with your lung cancer, emphysema, tooth rot, gum disease, bad breath, yellow teeth...

you get the idea.
