Yes, you can do anything you like during your period. The only condition when it comes to swimming is that you need to use internal menstrual products so that the blood doesn't come out in the pool for everyone to see and have to swim through! Pads as a big no-no as disposable pads will come unstuck and fall apart, even with cloth pads they would become saturated with water so unable to absorb blood and the blood would bypass the pads while you're in the water anyway.
You can use any of the following to swim on your period:
Menstrual cups are the best option as unlike tampons or sponges they can be worn before your period or with light flow, they don't increase cramps, don't absorb water, don't have anything showing outside the body, can be worn for up to 12 hours, and as they both hold more flow than other options and have light suction it means they don't leak like other options.
you can go in the pool whenever as long as you have a tampon in....
but technically, you cant menstruate while you're in the water, as in like no blood can come out while you are submerged.. though before and after you're in the water, it definitely can.
ya it is perfectly fine to go swimming during your period. i do it all the time when i have my period if it is nice out
Sure but use enough so you don´t leak into the water. Tampon+pad is something you can use and change right before you go in and right after you get out.
No. A period is a part of life and shouldn't stop you from regular activity.
You can, yes.
Yes, it is fine. Go, have fun !
if you want everyone to see you're on your period, then yeah
no you can not go swimming when your period is heavy. When it is at they very end and its not that heavy your period will not stop in the water, but will be held back. Also, if you go swimming and you have your period when you get out of the pool it might start to drip down your leg.
You can, but for the safety of others in the pool {And to avoid embarrassment}, you should use a tampon while in the water.
Swimming during your period is fine as long as you wear a tampon which should be changed before and after you go swimming
You can always swim even on your period!
i still go swimming when i am having my period i just wear tampax then change it as sonn as ive finished swimming
Menstrual cycle is your reproductive cycle, if you are a healthy fertile woman then you're always on your menstrual cycle - I think that you mean during your period. Yes, you can go tanning while on your period, there's nothing that you can't do while menstruating.
If you wear a tampon then you can. =]
Some species of shark can detect 1 part of blood in 100,000,000 parts of water.
Sharks aren't likely to be somewhere that you're swimming, but they can smell even the smallest trace of blood in the water. Sharks are unlikely to come and kill you if you go swimming on your period using tampons. This is largely a moot point, just don't go swimming with sharks.
Yes.
yes you can go swimming when you have your period. If you want to do this then its best to use a tampon. Just find what type of tampon suits you and you should be fine.
