No, it is not hot all year 'round in Chicago. Chicago has four distinct seasons of which Summer is the warmest (1995 over 700 deaths due to severe, prolonged over 100F heat). Summer weather in Chicago is primarily in July and August. June is usually mild as is September. Some years Autumn and Spring can tie for rainiest. Winters can either be very COLD or very SNOWY but usually not both.
