Is it illegal for a 18 year old to date a 15 year old with a parents consent?

Absolutley not. It is definitly illegal. You have to be 18yrs old. Anyone that you date has to be under 18yrs old. Say you were to get pregnant by him then he could go to jail, because your under the age. It is not illegal to date him, it is illegal to sleep with him. And even if your parents approve of him now, let's say you are sleeping with him, and you were to get pregnant, your parents could be upset and press charges against him.

the parents cannot consent to someone breaking the law. It is not against the law as there are no laws about what age you have to be to date, there are laws about sexual activity depending on the state. That is way too young to risk even a hint of impropriety, it could ruin the older one's life. And there really isn't a reason for someone in high school to be dating someone that young. In most places you have to be at least 16 to consent, if not 17 or 18.

You can date if you don't have sex... There are no laws on the books concerning that. The laws concern inappropriate sexual exploitation of underage individuals. 15 is underage, so you can date and have a friendship, but the truth is that the 18 year old is at risk socially and probably legally if someone starts slinging accusations, even if they are unfounded. Be careful. Go out, enjoy each other's company, but don't do anything that would compromise the self worth or self respect of the other. At your age, concentrate on friendship. You're both too young to start a family so don't complicate a good friendship with dating and boy-girl issues, those ARE sexual and courtship issues that you probably aren't ready for.

There are no laws for dating so it's entirely up to the minors parents and they can get a restraining order against you. Sex is not allowed until the minor is 18 so the parents can report you for it even though it has never happened. It's hard to prove.

There are no laws regarding dating so that is up to the parents. There are laws regarding sex though and the 18yo is putting himself in potential danger of being reported for statutory rape.
