Yes, they 13 year olds can babysit 3 year olds. That is a typical babysitting job. I would say no to babysitting a 8 year old considering that you are only 5 years more mature than them. 8 year olds sound more like a 16 year olds babbysitting job.

No! LOL well, i am a mother of a 5 year old and it's never been easy. it was never easy. and a 13 year old is not even matured enough to take care of 1 child, what more of 3?!

by the way how old are those children? LOL

obviously it's possible, but the possibility of an accident happening or something going horrible wrong significantly increases, mainly because there isn't a single 13 yr old int he world (even in genius IQ range) that is capable of handling everything that happens during babysitting. it'd be better if it was 1 child. but as the previous answer says, it also depends on the age. if it's 2 infants and maybe a toddler, that would make sense, but it's still very risky

Sure you can! It would be wise to take a Red Cross course first and become certified. Then I would print up business cards, spread the word that you're available for babysitting!

tip: Never babysit more than two or three kids at a time

There isn't a exact age on when you can babysit in Texas.

It depends on how much you trust the 13-year old. But if CPS finds out you are neglecting your children/not taking care of them; you can get go to jail...
