No
it is legal to carry a knife there but not switchblade or butterfly.
No, it is illegal to carry a butterfly knife in Iowa. Iowa law prohibits the carrying, display, or use of such knives.
Only if you are in the Military can you carry ANY type of switchblade. Now, "spring assisted" you can carry (its a "switchblade" if you can push a button on the handle to automatically release the blade).
No. They are illegal to possess. A butterfly knife is considered a switchblade under Texas law. A switchblade is a prohibited weapon.
Yes, switchblades are legal in Oklahoma. In 2015, the state passed legislation that repealed the ban on switchblade knives, making it legal to own, carry, and use them in the state.
It is legal unless you take in government buildings
Yes, chemical irritant sprays are legal to carry for purpose of defense against human criminals and violent animals. Maryland has no restriction on size or concentration.
It is not legal. However if you are deployed to a FOB, nobody will care. Some PX's will not sell you a switchblade if you aren't active duty. Others do not care, especially ones staffed by foreign nationals. If you are turned away at the PX, you can get someone from your unit to buy it for you. When you ship stuff home, they search your package for contraband. Best not to have a switchblade inside. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switchblade covers the legality issues
If you own a concealed weapons permit you can carry a switchbade knife if Florida, otherwise it is illegal to carry concealed. It is legal to own a switchblade in Florida though. You just can't carry it concealed without the correct weapons permit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not true. In Florida switchblades are no different than any other knife and no permit is required to carry this or any other "ordinary pocket knife" A knife over 4 inches in blade length or that is deemed, or perceived, as a "combat" knife can cause you problems. Simply being a switchblade does not make it a combat knife, that law has already been settled
switchblade kits are legal because they are not fully assembled and therefore not a weapon if you do assemble it il is still legal to have because you didnt buy it assembled. im not sure if its legal to carry around asembled or not.
can I CARRY A BOWIE KNIFE IN BALTIMORE MARYLAND
Yes it is. The law only makes it illegal to sell them, and by implication, illegal to carry them concealed on one's person. Because it is illegal to sell them in Maryland, and because Federal law makes it illegal to sell them over state lines, the only way to obtain a switchblade for a Maryland resident is to travel to another state where it is not illegal to sell or possess switchblades.
