Tire pressures range from 32 psi to 44 psi depending on the tire. The recommended pressure will be stamped on the sidewall some where. do NOT use the sidewall that is the MAX pressure for other applications use the door jamb info sticker and never inflate a p-rated tire above 35psi regardless of the max listing on the sidewall
No, you can plug a drive or trailer tire - you just can't plug a steer tire or use recaps on the steer axle.
Sure that's only an inch change probably unless you have now. Check tire sidewall to see if presently 14 or 15
That will depend on the application. The sidewall of the tire will list the maximum safe operating pressure. The owners manual of the vehicle will list the recommenced pressure for use on the vehicle.
Recommended tire pressures vary depending on the size and brand of tire, but every tire made, regardless of brand or application, has that information printed on its sidewall. Always use the tire manufacturer's recommendation as opposed to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendation, since the tire(s) may or may not be OEM.
The use of tire chains are legal in the state of Kansas. You can also use studded tires in Kansas during the months of November through March.
Depends on the manufacture. The correct size is written on the tire sidewall of the tires that came on the camper. Ans 2 -The correct size is almost always stamped into the inside of the rim .
recommended tire pressures should be on the sidewall of the tire. NO, NO, NO that is not the correct tire pressure. Never use that number!!!! That number is the max the tire can be inflated. The correct pressure amount is on a sticker usually on one of the car door frames or in the owners manual. Or car the dealer and ask them.
When a freeze plug is damaged, coolant can leak from the vehicle. Using a screwdriver, roll the lip of the plug over toward the middle, being careful not to scratch the sidewall. Grab the lip with a pair of pliers and twist the plug out. Use a hammer to tap in the new plug.
You can use a radial tube in a bias ply tire BUT you can not use a bias tube in a radial tire. The sidewall flex of a radial tire is greater than that of a bias ply. A bias tube cannot flex as rapidly as a radial tube and so the resulting friction or rubbing create too much heat and the tire/tube combination will blow.
If you look at the sidewall there will be a value written there stating the max allowable tire pressure. Use that, or whatever lower pressure you can w/o getting flats.
Yes; however, you will have to reduce your max ratio of tire sidewall accordingly. You won't be able to use as "tall" a tire with a "taller" rim, which is typically not a problem in this app, since people generally lean toward shorter sidewalls in these apps.
