No, it is not legal to film adult entertainment on High School grounds. Well, technically it is. You would need to gather consent from the public office by means of a Public location filming permit/licence (depending on which state). Get that and you would still need to discuss with the School officials- Principle, Super, erc. This motion would then be passed to the PTA and most likely be denied. Find a Principle you know well or, and I don't recommend this wink wink, bribe.Thats probably the most likely scenario unless you are a student then ditch class and do whatever you want. Bring new meaning to Physical Ed.

Attend Filmmaking School?

Filmmakers are not required to attend film school, but it may benefit career progress. It is also a good way to create a social network. Some students choose to focus on film production, whereas others examine film theory, history, or screenwriting. Some schools that focus solely on film may emphasize the technical aspects of film but many students find these programs to be expensive. Public universities and community colleges may offer film degree programs. Some popular film schools include UCLA, NYU Film School, and USC Film School. The benefits of film school education are plentiful. Many film school programs teach the essentials of business in the film industry. This appeals to many students who already have a solid understanding of the arts. Film school also has social benefits; students make connections with each other as well as with educators. Many film instructors have experience working in different aspects of the film industry. Students also learn the benefits of working in groups to create a project. Film school is also beneficial because it gives students an opportunity to learn about history and theory. Experience may result from the internship opportunities offered to filmmaking school students. Many film schools also give students opportunities to showcase work in exhibitions and festivals. Filmmakers who attended universities in order to learn the art of filmmaking include Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese. Some filmmakers have argued against the need to attend film school. Some claim that tuition is too costly and that any money spent on the education would be better suited for financing a film project to jumpstart a career. Others have claimed that it is not possible to learn the art of film, it is something that comes naturally. These filmmakers also argue that the best education for a filmmaker is hands-on experience, not lessons taught in a classroom. Famous filmmakers who did not attend film school include Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock. Filmmakers with all levels of education have become successful so it is a matter of personal choice.

How to Select the Best Filmmaking School?

The incredible competition found in the film industry requires potential applicants to attend the right film schools. Anyone interested in film school should ask themselves a few questions before deciding upon the right school. Answering these questions will enable a prospective student to find the film school that will best suit their future career needs. Film programs are found in at a variety of educational institutions. Finding the right educational opportunity will be dependent on the student’s future career goals. Many four year colleges and universities have film departments that are focused on providing experience in a variety of different fields. For example, students attending a four year degree program in film production may have to take classes in screenwriting, even if their ultimate career goal is directing. The ultimate goal of these film programs is to give students a broad base in film studies and film making. Alternatively, there are some schools that offer specialized majors or certificates just in one area of film making. Typically, this curriculum can be found either at film schools, art schools, or vocational schools with filmmaking programs. Another point a prospective student may want to consider is their own level of experience with film production. Some filmmaking schools are well equipped to handle students with no prior knowledge of filmmaking, others require substantial experience to be admitted into a program. For example, at NYU, one of the best known film schools in the country, freshman applicants are expected to submit samples of their work. If you decide to enroll in your local state college, chances are you will not be required to enter the filmmaking school with any prior experience. One last thing to consider is how well the film school prepares its students to for their future career endeavors. For example, a prospective applicant will want to investigate whether the students at the school enter their films into competitions, whether or not there are internship opportunities, and so on. A school that allows its students to network themselves within the film industry probably has a higher percentage of graduates working in the industry, then a school that does not. These are just a few issues to consider when applying to film school.
