"certified" used car is a marketing tool not a law. What did they certify? That the car was used or did they certify that it had a cracked windshield. You need to clarify with the dealer what they are certifying.
Yes
No, it is not illegal to sell a car with a cracked windshield in the state of Illinois. However, it is illegal to drive a car with a cracked windshield in almost any state.
Of course you can.
Yes, but the cracked windshield will decrease the value of the car. You will probably have more success finding a buyer if you replace the windshield.
You must replace the window. Then you can sell it.
yes, if you act and tell them that you dont want the car "as is" the dealer should be responsible for replacnig the wind shield.....
Yes, but I would advise against it. You would be setting yourself up for liability if the broken windshield cause the owner to have an accident. Spend the money to have it replaced. You may even get it done for free through your insurance. It will make the car worth more and you will recoup the price of the windshield when you sell the car even if you have to pay for the repair yourself.
Yes, it is legal, but make sure you tell any prospective buyer that there is a recall on the car.
There ARE people who give legal advice, They are called attorneys. To them, the law is a product that they are certified to practice and it is a "product" they can SELL, not give away.
yes....you can sell one with out the windshield if you wanted.....The question should be would some one buy a car with a chipped windshield!
Stores will not sell cracked iPod Touches, and people do not buy them, so it is hard to say exactly how much a cracked iPod Touch will sell for or would buy for.
A salesman does not have to be certified to sell you the repair. Some stated require that the mechanic doing the repair is certified. If your state does not require, if would be in your best interest to find one who is.
