Absolutely. As long as you don't represent the mattress as being new it is most certainly legal to sell a used mattress.
Used mattresses are not illegal to sell, but in some places they may have strict regulations.
No
yes
yes you stupid kid
If you look on the internet, you will find miriads of instances of used and 'barely used' mattresses for sale in Kansas, so although not really authoritative, this does seem to indicated that it is quite legal. I cannot find any laws pertaining to this subject.
It is illegal to sell any used mattress in any of 50 states. That is the only piece of furniture can not be re-sold. it has to be disposed of.You will see people offer it free with a bedroom set. Why in the world would you want a used mattress?Who would buy a used mattress???? Bed bugs...bodily fluids....Yuck!!!!!!!!!! Just the thought creeps me out!Dave Al-Bahrani would sell his blind mother a pair of glasses. He also sells used mattresses at his furniture shop in Ashland Wisconsin...he will sell u anything for a price. You are correct. Mattresses can be donated to organizations that help the poor but never sold.
No. Sleepy's is the largest mattress retailer on the east coast. They sell top brand mattresses that are sealed from the time it is manufactured, until the time it reaches the purchasers home.
Only if you are trying to sell it as sanitized or unsoiled.I disagree. Look at 12 VAC 5-125-100 in the Virginia Administrative Code. Anyone selling a used mattress is supposed to have sanitized before the sale is even offered.Clarification: The law does regulate the sale of soiled mattresses, remarkably enough. However, the law cited does include various exemptions, such as estate sales, and individuals selling their own household items. Therefore, while a store must sanitize beddings and mattresses, the private individual selling his own mattress does not.
Nope. But is illegal to sell a used mattress and say its new.
there is none its just abunch of junk to keep you from making money its perfectly legal
yes.
