It is legal, but not safe. Truck Campers are not made to be ridden in, versus a Motorhome is because there are seat belts located everywhere and you can keep an eye on whoever is in the back.
Truck Campers are not part of the truck. Truck campers are held on with some braces and bolts. A Motorhome is connected through bolts and braces, as well as the frame, the bodywork, and the interior items.
Hope this helps!
Some states allow it, but you must have communications between the driver and the person in the trailer.
Yes, a fifth wheel camper can be towed by a tractor trailer. However, you might need to lower the air bags of the tractor trailer (or simply adjust them so they're lower when they're inflated) to accommodate the camper.
In a traditional drawbar-towed trailer, yes. However, I believe that SOME states allow occupants to travel in a fifth wheel trailer provided that there is two-way communication between them and the driver.
I believe it is 65ft total length from front of truck to back of last trailer. Some states require you to unhook if you are over the limit pluss about a $200.00 fine-
Illegal in Oregon.
It all depends on the height of the trailer it has to be at least 1.4 Mt's high and the pin in the right place

it is possible but some states don't allow it.
Yes. In Colorado a trailer would be covered under the auto insurance policy. If you have a fifth wheel or camper I would recommended and insurance policy by itself on it.
Super Camper Special
I have both a '78 F250 trailer special and a '78 F350 camper special. They both have the same engine and transmission. My camper special has an extended wheel base( not all have this feature, only a few) and a double leaf spring in the back. It came from the factory with camper tie-downs instaled. It also has the spare tire were the side utility box is on my trailer special. My trailer special has a larger rear axle, I think its a 10.5in as opposed to a 9.0in the camper special. Other than that they are pretty much the same truck. Hope this helps. 78_ford_fanatic
If you mean hooking a small trailer behind a bigger trailer behind your truck, no. You can only triple-tow in certain states and provinces and only if the first trailer is a fifth wheel.
Yes, but you need a two wheel car trailer.
