No. You can't use anything smaller than .23 caliber and no fully automatic weapons at all.
He's right. No full auto--besides, that would just be a stupid inaccurate waste of ammo. A semi-auto AR of some sort would be fine-- but I would recommend larger than .223 Rem. If you want, just go for it with a spear. That's about as BA as it gets.
