No, it is not.
If you have a download 100% completed you become a seed. utorrent will keep uploading (seeding) to other users so they can also complete their download. Keep in mind: If nobody would seed you could never complete a download. So please leave utorrent open seeding as long as you can to help others.
The full seeding process begins once your torrent download has reached 100%. Seeding never truly "finishes." In fact it actually begins once you have started the download of the torrent yourself. As you download, whatever you have downloaded is in turned shared. You can continue to seed the torrent as long as you are allowing others to download.
If you want to download without seeding, just delete the torrent after download to prevent seeding.
Well, Simple..."NONE / NOTHING"If you continue seeding, the other people who download the particular file/files make it faster & easier for them to finished....=)-AeiByCi
under status it will say seeding when its done downloading. also you can watch the movies before its done seeding. seeding is not necessary but is recommend so that it will be faster for the next person to download.
A seed is a client (a person) that has a complete copy of whatever torrent you`re downloading. Once your torrent is done downloading it will remain open until you close it (This is known as being a seed or seeding). Lots of seeds = Faster downloads! So keep seeding !!! You can take a look at my blog for a complete explanation of torrents www.1001lostlinks.blogspot.com
Seeded means something that you are seeding. So like, you download one torrent, after you download it fully you'll start to seed it, hence "seeding" it to other people that are downloading it. All P2P software uses seeding.
Unfortunately it does use up your download limit.
Seeding is not always necessary, but it can help improve the growth and health of plants by establishing a strong root system early on. Seeding can also aid in preventing erosion, improving soil quality, and restoring ecosystems in certain environments. Ultimately, the decision to seed depends on the specific goals and conditions of the area being considered.
When you are downloading/uploading the file, you are referred to as the 'leecher'. Once your download is complete, you will see that your Bittorent client will keep on uploading the file, since downloading takes much less time than uploading. Once you have completely uploaded the file, you are known as a 'seeder'. The more the seeders on a torrent, the faster the downloads. That's why its called P2P (peer-to-peer), so you download and share at the same time! Seeding will not affect your download speed, since your download and upload speed are two different things, uploads do not affect downloads!
You don't have to seed torrents, but seeding torrents helps others to download the torrent quicker
