It is not normal for any animals to eat their youngs but hamster have the ability to eat their youngs because they are an omnivorous kind of animals, one reason is for their survival.
I have a hamster its fine he might get sick though
It is good and healthy for your hamster to eat fruits and vegetables and they enjoy it as well :)
Hamster usually can eat anything but .....Tomatoeslettucechocolateorange'sCarrots are very healthy, they provide protein, and are very good to gnaw ondestiny
it depends on the condition of the hamster if it is healthy then yes otherwise no
It is definitely normal hamster practice to eat the corpse (before it decays), which is thought to be for waste disposal purposes and not to satisfy hunger. A person who can read hamster thoughts may tell you that "Once a hamster dies, it IS normal for it's house-partner to eat it's corpse, as a way to show simpathy for the dead friend. If the baby hamsters are not strong enough, sometimes the mother will eat them, in order to keep them from dying a horrible death. Also, if the mother feels her young is in danger, she will eat them because she thinks that her young will be safer that way."
it wont matter wat kind of hamster it is hamsters can eat anything u eat my dwarf hamster does and he's lived for 1 yr. and 2 months as long as u give them healthy food to cleanse their bodies after a while.

Normal, healthy, sane people don't.
In the wild yes they do. Pet hamsters tend not to gain much because usually the heating in the house is warm enough. If its not then the hamster will go into hibernation. The hamster will gain a lot of weight before hibernation as it is preparing to stay asleep for a long while.
Mothers have been known to eat the runts, but I do not think they would eat the healthy babies. Make sure you feed her enough!
My hamster loves pop tarts, I give him the crusts, it doesn't seem to hurt
