That really depends. Has he always had this problem or ia this something that started happenong later? In other words he was fine until he mysteriously started wetting the bed. If this has been a struggle for you son since he was potty trained you may want to take him to the doctor to make sure he does not have medical problems. If that is ruled out it is likly he is a deep sleeper there are bedwetter alarms to wake bedwetters up it goes off when it detects moisture. Eventually your son will be able to wake up on his own without using an alarm. However if this is something that wasn't currently happening or it stopped and he had a relapse aa I said earlier you should make sure it is not a medical problem and talk to him to see if there is something stressing him out that you are not aware of. you want to rule out any phychological issues. I don't mean to sound ruse but he could also have a weak bladder.
It is still very common for preteens to continue to wet the bed. Everyone is different eventually it will stop over time like I didn't stop till around my 15 birthday. If it is worrying you go to your doctor because there might be a medical problem which can be solved. But I wouldn't worry, if you don't already use protection I do recommend you do so, it help me loads to get a good night sleep and feel better about my self.
You can't get BV from wetting the bed.

Well, it's a certain possibility that the relationship has absolutely nothing to do with why you wet the bed. Bed wetting is completely normal, and bed wetting will sometimes tend to stick with some teens, and follow them into their adulthood. Or perhaps you just had a bed dream that you don't remember
You should probably stop
They probably need help from a doctor.
its when you wet the bed at the age of 10 +
The smell of dandelions in bed wetting could be the sign of a urinary tract infection. This could also be the cause of the bed wetting.
In my experience, my daughter's night wetting stopped almost completely when taking adderall. She stopped taking the meds during the summer & the bed wetting returned. She has woken up dry again since her first dose this school year. My daughter is 9yrs old and has wet the bed at least once per night since birth.
