Yes, this can be totally normal. In order to menstruate regularly you have to ovulate regularly, at 11 years old it's unlikely that your body is mature enough to ovulate on a regular basis so irregular periods or lack of periods is normal - even when you're a little older, as your body changes this can effect hormones and your cycles by large so result in irregular periods. If concerned then talk to your doctor if you've gone over three months without a period.

∙ 9y agoYes, it is perfectly normal for a young women to reach menarche at 11 years old.
The average age of menarche is around 12 years old to 13 years old, but anything between 10 years old to 16 years old is considered within normal age. The age of around 11 years old is a little under average but it's certainly not unusual to reach menarche at this age.
