If it bothers you, you must talk about it with him.

I'm sorry that you're going through this. I recently found many, many messages on my boyfriend's phone/e-mail asking to meet up with people from CL, both men and women. This was a total shock to me. My boyfriend said that he was bored as well, but it still violates fidelity in a committed relationship. It wouldn't describe it as "normal" behavior in a committed relationship because he is being verbally intimate with others and also sending them pictures (sex or otherwise). It takes a lot of effort to go through these motions and if you're not okay with it in the relationship then he shouldn't be doing it. Keeping something from you as important as full disclosure of his sexuality is also untruthful. Perhaps he is questioning his sexuality, and he himself does not know. However, either way you have a right to know.

He may also be bi or bi curious. Still, it isn't right to violate or disrespect you or your relationship. This is a hard subject for many men to broach, because their masculinity is at risk by seeming anything other than heterosexual. I suggest having a detailed talk about how long he has been sending these messages, if he has ever met up with any of these men for sex, if he used protection, a full-disclosure of his sexual history, what this means for your relationship, and if he is willing to stop, etc.

This will be hard to talk about, but keep an open mind and listen because he may need your support. Find out what you need to know and be respectful of him, and then decide what you need to about the future of your relationship.
