I wouldn't, but you could take her to the doctor. Generally this runs the same for mothers and daughters. Think of when you started and if it was about her age she probably is right on target.

no u do not stop growing wen u start ur period i am 14 almost 15 i started my period right after i turned 13 i have grown alot since than so im sure u still will starting ur period has nothing to do with u growing Actually your period has a lot to do with your growing. When you get your period your about 3/4 of the way done growing. I have a 19 year old daughter who was 10 when she got her period and she did not grow much more after that. My daughter's doctor told her that she will not grow much more. She started her period at 9. She(the doctor) said that my daughter may squeeze in another inch, but will not have another spurt.
