It's not unusual for your period to be irregular when you're a teen or young adult, especially when you're under stress.

It sounds like you're concerned about pregnancy, though. If your sexual activity was confined to manual or oral sex, you should be fine. It is possible to get pregnant without penetration, however, under any of the following conditions:

* A woman can get pregnant even if penetration only happens for a few seconds. * A woman can get pregnant from having faux sex or dry sex, when there is no penetration, but there is skin-to-skin contact of the genitals. * A woman can get pregnant from pre-ejaculate, the clear liquid that comes out of the penis before ejaculation, because sperm is present in this fluid as well as in semen. * A woman can become pregnant whether she has an orgasm or not. * A woman can become pregnant if her clothing (underwear, for example) becomes completely saturated with semen and is in direct contact with the woman's vagina. * A woman can become pregnant from having sex in water, but it's unlikely that this would occur if the man ejaculated in the water, rather than inside the vagina. * A woman cannot become pregnant directly from anal sex, but there is a chance that semen could leak from the anus into the vagina, which could cause pregnancy.

Sperm can live for 3-5 days as long as it's in a warm, moist environment.

Don't panic. Although it's possible to get pregnant under any of these circumstances, the potential is much lower than it is for intercourse.
