That's pretty normal, especially for girls/women who have not had sex. One reason it could be uncomfortable is that it's dry; otherwise, it's simply the pulling. Every woman uterus is tilted a a different angle, so try pulling it out at a different angle to maximize comfort next time. The only reason to worry would be if you've left in a tampon for over 8 hours and you have very sharp pains, in which case, you should see a doctor or gynecologist to check for Toxic shock syndrome, a rare disease sometimes caused by prolonged tampon use.

It could be that the tampon is dry, or that you didn't put it in quite far enough or straight. It all comes with practice. Once you use tampons more frequently, you become used to them, and they don't feel as weird coming out.

No, it shouldn't feel uncomfortable for you to remove tampons if using them correctly.

Whether you've had sex or not your vagina is no different so at no point should you experience pain or discomfort when removing tampons, even if your hymen is in tact if it has allowed a tampon in then it will allow a tampon out - although you may need to help by moving the hymen if it's in the way. You should be using the correct absorbency for your flow, if the tampon isn't saturated in blood after 4-6 hours you're using too high an absorbency, this damages vaginal tissues so will cause pain. Also be sure to relax when removing the tampon as if you're tense the vaginal muscles tense so cause the vaginal walls to clench around the tampon so make removal difficult.

Any time you use a tampon it can feel uncomfortable.

Tampons don't change your vagina in any way so whether it's the first time or the millionth the reasons for discomfort are the same. It may be that you're using too high an absorbency for your flow so it's drying out your vagina, also tampons can increase menstrual cramps so this may be the uncomfortable feeling. If you're tense rather than relaxed or don't insert high enough this will cause discomfort too.

Why would a tampon feel uncomfortable after you unspread your legs?

If you can feel the tampon of feel uncomfortable once you have closed your legs then the likelihood is that the tampon isn't inserted high enough. The first few inches of your vaginal canal are narrower than further-up in the vagina, if not inserted far enough the tampon will sit in this area and as the vaginal muscles push together they would push against the tampon. This area also has more nerve endings so even if there is no discomfort you are still more likely to feel the tampon if it's here.

What does a tampon feel like?

What will happen If you swim with a tampon in?

Nothing will happen, it's just like wearing a tampon at any other time. It is possible for water to be absorbed by the tampon, meaning it can leak or feel a little uncomfortable, so make sure to time it to insert just before you go swimming and check after half an hour to an hour.

Is it normal to feel sore after you use a tampon for the first time?

It's semi-normal to feel sore after using tampons any time. There's little about the first time specifically, unless you were especially uncomfortable about trying tampons for the first time. Most commonly pain is a result of using too high an absorbency for your flow: if not saturated in blood after 4-6 hours you need to use lower absorbency or pads. Also if you're tense rather than relaxed then you'd have had to force the tampon into your vagina which may irritate vaginal walls too.

Can feel a stuck tampon in your stomach?

No. The tampon is right at the opening of the vaginal entrance - it can not reach your stomach. And even if it could it would be too small to feel. You have both ovaries and uterus and intestines but I bet you can't feel them. A tampon is smaller.

Is pain normal after retrieving a stuck tampon?

Whether it's normal to feel pain after retrieving a 'stuck' tampon depends on what you mean by it being 'stuck', what you did to retrieve it, and how long afterwards it continues to hurt. If the tampon was 'stuck' because it was too dry then it would have caused vaginal tearing and irritation so would hurt. If the tampon was 'stuck' because you were tense and you had to force it out that would hurt too. If you're experiencing pain days or weeks after removal then you may be looking at an infection.

Can a tampon feel weird even If its in right?

When you put a tampon is, you have to push it as far up as you can, don't worry it's not dirty to put your finger up your vagina to push it up. Once it's in, you should try standing up to see if its comfortable. In my opinion i think tampons are easier & more hygenic than pads. I feel more comfortable and don't feel self concious.
