It is possible to get you're period when using an active pill. Maybe when you are just started using the pill, because it takes some time for your body to get use to it.
But if you have been using it for a wile, you might want to consult a doctor.

Forget about it. Continue taking your pills as normal (don't take the missed pill). If you are actually worried about pregnancy, don't be too concerned. Your period will probably take care of things naturally.
