I'm pretty sure it's okay. I don't see anything that would be bad about it. :)
it is okay for any hamster to drink out of a hamster bottle as long as you clean the bottle.(you should clean it everyday)
no because hamsters drink the water, then you just refill it
Probably when it starts walking around and its eyes are open. As far as I know, most baby mammals don't start to drink water until they are almost completely weaned. Guinea pigs would have to be an exception though; their babies are precocious and drink water from a bottle a day or two after birth.
most hamsters drink naturally when they are ready if they have been bought up using a simple bottle in there cage but if they don't know how to use the bottle you could buy another type of water bottle or bowl i suggest the new one from pets at home its a small bowl that you put water in and then put the grid on top that lets a small amount of water out so that they can drink a water easier and also won't drown in it. another way is to put small amount water in your hand from the bottle showing the hamster how to do it and then let is drink out your hand
a little bowl that you use for ice cream or a dogbowl so he doesn't flip it over trust me i had it happen before and that what i did so good luck
because your hamster hasn't gotten the chance or knowledge to drink water for itself. in these cases. you should get baby droppers and force water. or the hamster could be dehydrated or sick.
The only problem would be the size. Guinea pigs drink MUCH more than a hamster would, so generally you would need a larger bottle. Also, if you used this bottle for a hamster previously, you would need to make sure it was cleaned well before using it with another animal.
Well, they need a hamster wheel for excercising with, food, which I recommend to be put in a bowl, a plastic hamster water bottle for the hamster to drink from, play toys for the hamster to play with and lastly, you need to have wood chips on the ground, so that the hamster's feet will be protected.
a drink that a hamster can't have is any alcoholic drink
"Drink Me".... this time she found a little bottle on it, (`which certainly was not here before,' said Alice,) and round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words `DRINK ME'beautifully printed on it in large letters.
You should keep a hamster drinking bottle attached to the cage so that the hamster can drink whenever it wants. As long as the bottle is always full then I'm sure the hamster won't forget to drink.
You probably don't see them drink when your not there. Plus, they need to drink or they will not survive. Don't worry too much because it happened to me. Your hamster isn't used to the cage and its surroundings. Just give it a few weeks for your hamsters to feel comfortable and used to it. I was worried at first, until i saw it drink!! :)
