You make give a gift at any time with being for a specific holiday like say Christmas or birthday etc.. We also give gifts to our families and loved ones from the kindness of our heart at any time. Come from love and not with the idea of receiving one in return.

∙ 10y agoIt depends on the occasion that the gift is being given. Usually, if people give us gifts on our birthdays or Christmas we are supposed to tactfully decline. Of course, this is up to a person's conscience so some may choose to accept and others to choose to decline. However, it is okay to give a gift to a Witness. Let's say your friend just finished high school and you want to get them a gift, there's no harm in that. Or your friend is getting married, no problem there. But what I would suggest is that you ask the person you are intending to give the gift to, if it's okay to give them the gift. Sometimes it helps if you say that there is no connection to any celebration or something along those lines.
