Yes. A promise ring, or any token of your intent is proper. Traditionally it's a modest ring but not like a solitaire diamond. A heart or something is good. A necklace with half a heart for each, etc. A diamond ring is a heavy commitment and may as well be an engagement ring, so that's not appropriate.
Yes. Its perfectly okay. If she really loves you it shouldn't matter what you give her. She should be glad you thought of her.

you give the girl flowers or chocolate! now if your a kid a teddy bear or a necklace ! something like that but with a kiss to her cheeks
Probably a necklace with her name, or a meaningful word on it.
Depends on the girl and her interests but if u give her flowers, chocolate or a necklace or something like that u can't go wrong :)
20yrs old. at the earliest
he didnt buy it but it was worth 2grand or more
Take this from a Just turned Twelve year old girl. MUSIC, BOOKS. If your daiting them give them a really cute Teddy or a necklace. Dont give them Choclate and Flowers. Girls want somthing that will last forever not until it dies of they eat it. If it is a necklace dont give them some cheep rubber band thing. Make sure its on a chain.
It is very rare these days for a boy to give a girl a promise ring. They don't sell them in jewelry stores either, and they are very difficult to come across. Promise rings are very old school but do still exist.
