you can give a animal cold water but not to cold
I have a 4 weeks and 18 weeks old dogs and they love to drink cold water. I monitored them and everything seems ok. I tried to give them room temperature water and they do not drink it. So I put cold water (bottled water) in there bowl and they love it! I found it not good to give animals "tap" water, too much chemicals, etc. in it. Sissy & Mister's Mom =)

Extremely cold about -87o probablies ok that's your answer
you should introduce sold foods slowly to puppies, with milk and water give them a little then once there ok with the difference from just milk give them more. they should be ok.
ok,first, they have fur, like the bear.some have a special 'anti freeze' substance in their body. And ofcourse these animals have to be active,so that their heart can pump more blood around their body which would make them gain heat enough to keep themselves alive.Plus they also have an hibernation period were they sleep through out when its realy cold and wake up when its less cold.
Yes
Possibly ferrous metal full of sediment
When cold water is poured into hot water, it sinks because it is denser than the hot water. The cold water is heavier due to the molecules being closer together at a lower temperature, causing it to sink to the bottom. The hot water, which is less dense, rises to the top.
OK yes there is: reptiles examples: cold blooded scaled creatures have scales use inferred vision like lizards, iguanas, turtles ( they are cold blooded I'm not sure if they have scales) OK i hope you get the point :)
Rudd, Orfe, some species of Catfish will all be OK in cold water with Goldfish.
