It is ok as long as you have the same size on each axle. In other words you must have the exact same size tire on the front axle or the rear axle. Never mix sizes on an axle.
By ratio if you mean size, the answer is no unless the car comes from the factory with a different size rear tires than front tires like some sports cars. In that case you would have 2 tires the same size on the front and 2 tires another size on the rear. You should never ever run 2 different size tires on the same axle. Therefore you would never have a situation where you would have 3 tires one size and then 1 tire another size.
Look at the sticker that is located at the left front door latch. It will tell you what tires are Ok for your car. Mine has a P235/75 R15.
As long as all 4 tires are the same size, you will be ok.As long as all 4 tires are the same size, you will be ok.
While it is good to use tires with the same tread and sizes, it is possible to use tires with different tread patterns, though you should be careful as the performance of the two tires may be different, causing your car to be unbalanced, endangering your passengers.
Yes.
Becuse that's what it says on the sidewall of the tire... "inflate to...". Bike tires have a higher number there than car tires do. ;-). OK - actually it is a factor of the ratio of the tire's footprint size to the weight supported. Bike tires have a very small area that contacts the surface and therefore require a higher pressure to support the weight.
It is okay to put different brandname tires on your CR-V than what it came with. Just make sure that the tire size is the same as called for on the sticker attached to the door frame that specifies the tire size and inflation guide.
no!
If It's not a four wheel or all wheel drive and they don't rub, it's ok. Four wheel or all wheel will really get messed up if you do this
"This was an intriguing question to respond to. However, upon my research, I have discovered that OK Auto does indeed carry tires of all different makes and models."
Tires have different rolling resistance. One of the fromt must have a different rolling resistance one way but not the other. As long as it is going streight it is ok.
Only one way to find out.
