If the two questions are nearly identical, either recommend a merge, or ask a Supervisor to merge the questions for you. If the questions are not the same, but have the same answer, it is alright to copy and paste an answer as long as you wrote it. Don't take credit for an answer that you did not write.

Is WikiAnswers like Wikipedia but for questions?

That's exactly what it is.

How can you merge exactly identical questions into 1 question?

The WikiAnswers site does not allow you to have two identical questions. If there are two questions that would have an identical answer, then they should be merged. Only Supervisors have this ability.

What is this site about exactly?

WikiAnswers is a question and answer site. It is a site where you can ask questions and get answers. It is a "wiki", which means that the answers are given by people who visit the site.

Does WikiAnswers have a licence?

A licence for what exactly. WikiAnswers is an on-line forum. Individuals ask questions for the wider community to answer.

Who are interested in blogging?

This isn't exactly...a Wikianswers question.

Did you know there are over 115542 sex offenders living in California right now?

That isn't exactly the type of question that WikiAnswers is for. WikiAnswers is for questions asking for information, not TELLING someone something and asking if they know it. Also questions are not to be directed to any particular person.

What question is asked most often on Wikianswers?

That is a hard question to answer to answer as there is no way to see what question is asked most. Computers can only see if things are exactly the same. If you askedWhat question is asked the most on Wikianswers?a computer would see that as a different question thanWhat question is asked most often on Wikianswers? However, a human can tell they're the same, and with the huge amount of questions on Wikianswers it's too hard to have a person sort through them.

How many questions are asked on WikiAnswers in total?

There are so many questions on WikiAnswers that it is impossible to total exactly how many questions there are. Even now, questions are being asked, so the total will always keep changing.

Why do Wikianswers supervisors change questions some people wrote which most of the time has nothing to do with the original question that was asked?

Sometimes questions are changedIf the meaning of the question was unclear,If the spelling or the grammar needed fixing,If there was another question that was asking exactly the same thing,If there are rude or slang words in the question that not everyone might understand. But when a question is changed, it should always be asking the same as the original question . Sometimes supervisors make mistakes, so it is fine to ask them, or another supervisor, in a polite way, why the question was changed. You can do this on their message boards.

Is it normal to ask so many questions?

Yes, it just means that you are curious. And that's exactly what WikiAnswers is for: asking and answering questions.

What is the meaning of 'Preserve question' on WikiAnswers?

"Preserving" a question is a tool only available to Community Assistants and other Answers.com staff. It is used to lock questions completely (so nobody can edit them, even Supervisors). It is mainly used when the Legal Department is looking into questions and needs to preserve them exactly as they were.

Does WikiAnswers have a language translator?

Not exactly... though WikiAnswers can help you with translations. You can ask questions such as 'How do you say 'eat' in Greek?' to the community (categorize it in 'English to Greek'), and wait for an answer.
