Hello, There is a few possibilitis as to why you would miss a period when on Birth Control. These possibilitis are: * Missing or taking too many Birth control pills. * Taking MAP or ECP. * Doseage of BC pills being too high for you. * Pregnancy. See your Doctor for a pregnancy blood test.

Hi A few things can cause this. Sometimes the doseage or the brand of the pill may not be correct for you and this can cause missed periods (especially if doseage is incorrect or took too many pills) and other times it can cause break through bleeding. Another possibility is pregnancy. See your DR for a pregnancy blood test. If negative change birth control.

This is due to the hormones decreasing from your system which triggers a withdrawal bleed. Missing a pill will put you at risk of pregnancy so you need to use a condom for 14 days.
