yes it is
No, because it's got wheat in it. Unless you've got gluten-free bread.
No because it is a fat
i suppose not if you cannot drink whiskey, and very frustrating as this is my favourite drink,
I believe that Chicklets Fruit Flavored Gum is not Gluten Free, because of its Modified Food Starch. When The Ingredients Label lists Modified Corn Starch, that is okay. Or even Modified Food Starch (Corn), is fine. But plain old Modified Food Starch is the thing to avoid if Gluten Intolerant. :)
Milo is a malted cocoa drink, and contains barley. So yes, Milo includes gluten, but if you just have to eat wheate-free then it can be okay. Cocoa pops definitely have gluten. Look at ingredients lists for maltodextrin, glucose syrup, glucose, thickener, vegetable starch, lecithin (if it says soy lecithin then its okay), reconstituted, wheat, oats, barley or rye. all these things have gluten.
I think so. Apples are, and so is wine. If there is no wheat or gluten, and I know that Angry Orchard, Crispis, and Woodchuck all claim to be gluten free. Sugars are another story, but this contains no wheat nor gluten. If you don't mind about sugars, you'll be fine.
I think it might mean 1 tablespoon of wholewheat flour. The direct translation of sarrasin that I found means buckwheat. Farine de sarrasin is buckwheat flour, a non-gluten flour okay for celiacs. It is used for traditional savory pancakes (galettes) in Brittany, usually filled with ham, cheese tomato and/or egg, in many combinations.
Yes, but the regular flour should be sifted and reduced by one tablespoon per cup.
yes
Yes it can have gluten in it. Do a Google search on gluten and red wine and you will see that lately gluten has been used as a clarifying agent in red wines. It used to be animal proteins but because of "mad cow disease", believe it or not, wine makers have started using wheat gluten as an alternative. Also many wine producers age their wines in wood barrels. These barrels are often pre-treated with a wheat-flour paste on the insides to prevent leakage. Of course this paste has gluten in it which will contaminate the wines. So, you need to do some research to make sure the red or white wine you buy is not contaminated with gluten.
Yes it is gluten and dairy free. This is because it is not milk chocolate or anything else with dairy in it. it usually doesn't have anything added to it either. So its okay for people who are allergic to dairy or gluten.
Barley, rye, oats, and wheat. Gluten can also be in natural and artificial flavor and caramel color. It may also be in maltoextrin, modified food starch, and is always in malt. It can be in a lot of other things too, I should know. I've had Celiac disease for almost three years. My mom and I did a lot of research and put a big binder of gluten free foods and brands together. I would recommend calling the company if you aren't sure about something. Great things you CAN eat are brown rice and quinoa. They make a lot of products with these ingredients as a base (i.e. brown rice bread, pasta etc..) Edit: Actually the oats themselves don't contain gluten but oats are generally contaminated in transport with wheat which is why we avoid oats. It is possible to get oats that have not been contaminated and are therefore gluten free. A long term study published in 2007 showed no detrimental effects on celiacs from eating these oats.
