Walking may or may not be okay for someone with the cited medical conditions. The extent of the damage may allow it or it may not. Only a physician can make a call like this. Swimming might be a better alternative as it puts less stress directly on the joints. Consult an exercise physiologist and your medical care provider. Yes, it's a pain to have to go this route, but no "gym rat" can give you advice on something like this. At least not advice that you'll be able to trust to not damage your knee and hip more than they are already. Make a smart choice here as it's your body and you have to live in it.
The physical therapist will decide when it is safe to get into a hot tub after a knee replacement. It will likely not be okay until at least a month after the operation.
Yes, I'm not sure what makes you think it wouldn't be okay. Having knee surgery doesn't have any effect on whether or not you can use tampons.
From what I know your probably not allowed to... I think its because too much cleavage, or something like that...

Okay I'm sure he could be bored or he could be trying to get closer to you because some boys just like to be close to the one they love.
I believe it's ok to wear a brace (from the drugstore) for osteo arthritis, however it's not a good idea to stop trying to move the arthritic joint entirely, since that can make problems worse in the long run. Try to remove the brace a couple of times a day (try not to wear it at night) and just try to gently bend and flex the joint in question. This should prevent the possibility of fluid build up around the joint, which can happen if you're not moving it it much. There's also a minor risk of DVT's from trying to not move the joint too much - but this only really applies to knees or hips, rather than wrists or elbows. If the joint is too sore/stiff to bend and flex it much, try a warm bath/warm flannel wrapped around it, then use an topical painkilling cream (such as Ibuleve or Deepheat) 10 minutes before trying to flex anything. You may find a painkilling cream additionally helpful anyway - they can be used alongside oral painkillers with no side-effects (unless you are allergic to any of the ingredients).
