"Anything's fair in love and war"
The soldiers would hide in the trenches and fire at the enemy.
The sentries stand for watch duty on the fire-step. The fire-step was normally 2-3 ft. high and enabled soldiers to fire at their enemy over the parapet (the front side of the trench). The entire battalion would stand on the fire-step during stand-to (anticipated enemy attack).
it means ''little warfare'' like they use stealth to overcome their enemy for example raids, ambushes or they attract the enemy fire so their allies can flank them.
they could kill enemy prisoners quickly
Fire steps were built on the parapet (side of the trench facing the enemy) which allowed soldiers to step up and fire over the tops of the trench.
false
false War is Heck. What would you do if you were defending you home and country? You would shot at them before the airplanes arrived and as they are descending. That is not a war crime.
there is a rule against it. Most enemy countries do not follow the accords and agreement the allies make. ***************************************************************** The above answerer obviously did not do his research. You can fire at paratroopers while they are descending by parachutes from an aircraft, even if that aircraft is in disabled. If you don't shoot them while they are in the air, they're going to shoot you after landing on the ground and proceed on with their missions of crippling your war effort. Paratroopers are offically combatants, coming down in parachutes from an aircraft, and have the ability to wage war once they land on the ground, therefore, you have every right to shoot them while they are still in the air. The "honor code" of not firing at parachutists are only applied to airman, not infantry troops. After a pilot takes down an enemy aircraft, the "honor code" is not fire at an enemy airman who bails out and open up his parachute. The airman's only mission to is conduct warfare while in his combat aircraft (the airman's only weapon). However, after the airman bailed out in his aircraft, he had left his only weapon of choice (aircraft) and have no means of conducting warfare. Therefore, he is officially a non-combatant and, therefore, not to be attacked during his descent.
Fire is a friend when its behind you,but its an enemy when its in front of you.
World War II airplanes provided fire to support troops on the ground, ferried paratroopers back and forth across the battlefield, dropped supplies, and destroyed enemy cities, just to name a few things.
It can be either.
it is a line of fire that goes round a castle when an enemy is approaching
You use fire arrows to ignite you enemy's buildings.

Pyro
Fire is both a friend and enemy. You see fire has many uses from cooking to keeping us warm but if fire is handled carelessly it may get out of control. Many people die due to fire accidents and some get seriously injured but without fire life is impossible.
they spit fire or flame out of their mouth which makes their enemy away.. hope for useful answer
