Yes Muslims can pray for salvation of their fellow human beings. As long as the non-muslim is alive there is always the possibility of him recognizing the truth of god and his commandments thus attaining the possibility of salvation. However after the death of the non-muslim it is disapproved to pray for his salvation as in his life time he never recognized god his correct commandments therefore there is no opportunity for salvation. Some scholars do take a slightly different view about it though. Of course we do not know god's will so we cant say for sure if a person will attain salvation or not.
No, non-Muslims are generally not allowed to enter the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, as it is considered a holy site for Muslims and entry is restricted to followers of Islam.
Mosques are important to Muslims in any country non-Muslim or not. Muslims go to the Mosque to pray which is why it is imporatant. Yes it is not permissible. If a man really wants to marry a Muslim woman, the only way about it for the man to convert to Islam. And if the woman will leave her faith for the sake of a man, then she'll be known as a 'murtad' which is even a greater sin.
First of all, I believe it is haraam [not allowed in Islam] for a Muslim woman to live with a non-Muslim man. Secondly, if she IS living there, as long as she is not praying while facing the pictures, it should be fine. It is not allowed to pray while facing pictures with anyone's face on them. It is also not allowed to pray with a mirror in front of you. This is the best answer I can give with my knowledge. I would suggest doing some more research to double check. Allah is all knowing and most forgiving. Masalaam.
