You can make a MODEL of an organ with a 3D printer- but printers do not make living tissue (yet). The printer is controlled by a computer program that tells it where to deposit a drop of material, and the object is built up one drop at a time.

3D Printing technology is constantly evolving and definitely has a lot in its pocket for the future. The level of customization that the technology offers opens up the door for its application in many industries, allowing it to solve a lot of problems
An industrial 3d printer, like those used to print titanium body parts can easily cost $100,000 dollars or more. Cost depends on how big and fast you need your printer to be, though, and what materials you need to print with. A medium printer with less options of materials and a slower print time can cost about $10,000. And now you can buy the most popular home, desktop 3D printers for $500-$1500 from what I see on Comparaboo. 3D Printing Industry is a good resource for all kinds of more detailed 3D printing information, from industrial to home use.

Pretty much is just like a printer expect it prints 3D for example if you want to print lets say a simple toy the printer will actually make it.
The 2D and 3D terms should speak for themselves. 2D is a flat surface (a piece of paper for example) with X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) dimensions. 3D on the other hand adds on another dimension - "depth". So you have X, Y and Z (for depth). To put it in simple words, with a 2D printer you're able to print text and images on a paper - or a flat surface. With 3D printer, you can print physical objects just as we see them around us. The applications of 3D printers are revolutionary when compared to 2D printers. For instance, take a look at this article mylocal3dprinting.com/blog/adorable-5-year-old-gets-a-3d-printed-prosthetic-arm/
Am not sure if the uPrint 3d printer has an option of importing solidworks files, but it will definitely import .stl files. you can save your assembly as .stl by using the save as option and choose .stl in "save as type". Hope this helps.

Hi, You can print larger print on a printer by increasing the font option of your document. The size is expressed in points. The larger the number of points, the larger the type. 10 pt. and 12 pt. are standard. Otherwise, you can contact to any 3D printing service provider like Iannone 3D for solving your problem. Thanks.
Standard 3D printer using regular PLA or ABS filament. We used an Ultimaker 2 with a heated bed and a Zeepro Zim, without a heated bed. T-shirt. Cotton, polyester, or blends. Large surface decorations will interfere with the extruder. Small clips. We recommend you use plastic clips or small clothespins. You don't want anything that will scratch your build plate and you also want small clips so they won't hit the sides of the printer when the build plates moves. 3D model. We used Tinkercad and prints downloaded from the Thingiverse. Software for slicing. We used Cura. Fabric glue (optional). Flexible fabric glue such as Fabri-tac or Jewel-it

Hi, 3D printing looks like as existing materials. We can create any object or anything which we like and print it or scan it in the 3d printer or 3d scanner. you need not work harder for 3D printing compared to machining. A machine takes lots of time consumption and work. According to me if you want to take 3D printing service then Iannone3d.com is one of the best options for you.
