Yes, or when you are relaxed you should be able to reach for the strings of the first tampon after you have removed the second.

To sooth your fears you may want to consider a menstrual cup (such as the Diva Cup). A menstrual cup sits inside you like a tampon, but it is reusable. You simply remove the cup, dump the contents, wash the cup out and reinsert. Since you would only have this one device (as opposed to multiple tampons) throughout your period, you would bypass the fear of inserting too many tampons.

more information....is it possible for a tampon to just fall out? Im 100% positive I put one in this morning and when I went to the washroom in the afternoon there was not one there. It is not up 'there' I've quadruple checked. My concern is that it somehow fell out without me knowing and I'm super embarrassed if that could have happened.

no, i wouldn't be able to forget about it because they're annoying and everytime i piss the string gets wet & gets stuck to my leg. but if you did, you should probably keep an eye on your vaginal discharge and go see a doctor if your vaginal area smells funny or if your discharged is discolored.

It is unlikley, but it could happen. Leaving a Tampon in too long can cause something called Toxic shock syndrome. It is unusual, but very bad and will make you feel very very poorly. If you suddenly find that you are feeling very unwell, and you think you might have forgotten a tampon contact your doctor immedately.

It is recommended that you change a tampon every 4 our (although some suggest that you can leave it for up to 8 hours).

It's possible, but unlikely. The tampon sits high in the vagina above the narrowest point in your vaginal canal, the vaginalmuscles help keep the tampon in place. Even if it was to come out, your vulvaand underwear would keep it from falling out completely, you'd feel it happening so could do something about it.

Tampons encourage bacterial growth while preventing vaginal cleaning - the longer you leave tampons the higher the risk of TSS and vaginal infections. Remove the tampon and switch to pads, watch over the next few days for symptoms of TSS and vaginal infections - if you see symptoms go to your doctor.

Just make sure to remove the first tampon - it's not difficult, when you go to change tampons just take that one out first and then you know it's okay to insert the new one, you should also be alternating with pads. If you were to leave a tampon then it wouldn't come out on it's own, you're have to remove it - even if you insert one on top of the next it can only go so far.

You can also use options like menstrual cups or softcups to stop this from being a problem at all, menstrual cups especially as there's only one there's no risk of you forgetting it during use.

No, a tampon cannot come out without you knowing or purposefully removing the tampon.

The tampon is held in place by the vaginal muscles, it sits above the narrowest part of the vaginal canal which helps to prevent it coming out too, not to mention most people wear underwear which would stop the tampon randomly falling out without being noticed!

Can a tampon fall out in the water?

It's VERY unlikely that a tampon would fall out - tampons are held in place by the vaginal muscles, the vaginal walls also close around the tampon which help keep it in place - if a tampon did fall out of your vagina when using the bathroom you should see your doctor as there is a problem with vaginal muscle tone. If a tampon was to fall out then you would unfortunately have to scoop it out to throw it in the bin.

How do you get out of the metro station if you fall in?

Can your tampon fall out while on an inner tube?

No, tampons cannot just fall out whether on an inner tube or doing any other activity. Tampons are held in place by vaginal walls, with the narrowest point of the vaginal canal beneath the tampon to keep in place.

Can a saturated tampon fall out on its own?

I had a tampon in and forgot to remove it when I went to bed. I have a heavy flow during the beginning of menstruation and when I went to the bathroom I thought I felt it fall out on its own, but when I looked in the toilet it was too red to see the tampon. I have checked twice and I cannot feel it inside me, is it safe to use another tampon?

What will happen If you swim with a tampon in?

Nothing will happen, it's just like wearing a tampon at any other time. It is possible for water to be absorbed by the tampon, meaning it can leak or feel a little uncomfortable, so make sure to time it to insert just before you go swimming and check after half an hour to an hour.

Do you pee from were the tampon goes?

No, you urinate from the urethra and a tampon goes into the vagina. Both the vaginal opening and the urethral opening are right next to each other within the vestibule of the vulva, but they are not the same hole and it is not possible to insert a tampon into the urethra. A person can urinate as normal when they are wearing a tampon.

Can you see a picture of tampon?

Yes, you can see a picture of a tampon by googling for an image of tampons. You can also see a picture of a tampon on the side of a tampon box. If you were to buy tampons you would be able to see a tampon first-hand too!

Is it possible to poop out a tampon 2 days later after being lost in your vagina?

yes...This has happended to me a million times...It will come out the shiter don't worry...And don't go to the gyno they are all just a bunch of rapeists. NO it is NOT possible for a tampon to move from the vaginal wall to the intestine. Unless you put it there. People should NOT be giving that sort of answer. If you have a tampon in for more than several hours at a time between changes, you are at risk for TSS. READ the info that comes in the tampon box people! If you had a bowel movement and noticed the tampon in the toilet, chances are you just pushed too hard and it came out of the vagina. Seriously, look at a medical encyclopedia once in a while people. I can't believe some of the answers on here. @@

What happens to a tampon when you are swimming?

For the most part nothing happens, the tampon will work just as it would normally. However it is possible for water to get into your vagina so be absorbed by the tampon, if this happens then the tampon may fill with water so make it a little more uncomfortable and more likely to leak. If concerned try wearing tampons in the bath to see how they work out, or consider menstrual cups which don't absorb water or leak like tampons.

Does a tampon prevent the sperm from fertilizing the egg at all?

NO !! of course not ,, think about how it got there to start with, no!!!! the sperm got there first... a tampon would just push it in further. Even if you did for some reason choose to have sex with a tampon in, this will not prevent pregnancy because the tampon would just absorb some of the semen, and it would still be "in there" Good luck trying to find the tampon after having sex with it in.

Could anything bad happen if your tampon isn't in right?

If your tampon isn't in properly, it could leak or you could experience discomfort. Those are the worst possible outcomes.
