It all depends on a whole variety of factors: Nature of the disability, age, general health. As with any pregnancy it's crucial to consult physicians before attempting to get pregnant. The ability to bear children sucessfully is depends on the type of disability one has. So it pretty much is determined on a case-by-case basis. Here's the story of a woman who was a quadriplegic and had a child.

∙ 11y agoYes, she can. Her reproductive organs do not depend on the nervous system to work. Her ability to become pregnant is controlled by the endocrine system. She still ovulates and gets her period. She can have sexual intercourse in the regular fashion, and has as much of a chance as any woman to get pregnant. The only reason she could not become pregnant is if she had a condition that made her infertile, which any woman could have, that is not related to her paraplegia. She can also carry the baby to term and give birth to it. She does not have to have a cesarean section unless there are other indications for having one.
By the way, I'm a paraplegic who had a baby.

∙ 12y agoI don't know why not. As long as that part of the body is healthy and hasn't been damaged, they should be able to do so but I would think it would have to be done with help in a clinic.

∙ 15y agoThe answer is no because half or your body in longitudinal axis is paralyzed. Maybe with lower hemiplegic.
