Not to my knopwledge, why not ask a local cop? A cop wouldn't necessarily know. He just serves warrants and doesn't have to know how or why they can be issued. Ask a lawyer or judge.
If you are asking about your ability find a job with an active bench warrant hanging over your head - IF the warrant was entered into the crime computer system AND if your employer wants a background check, it WILL show up.
There is no collective list of bench warrants. Some courts have lists of wanted people at the clerk's office. A specific person could also find out whether they have a bench warrant out through law enforcement.
Contact the court.
As soon as they find you.
US Customs and Border Patrol agents may arrest you with a active bench warrant. Find a criminal defense lawyer were the offence took place. They should find out if the warrant is active. They can advice you on how to proceed.
When you have served your period of incarceration in the first county, before they release you they should check to see if there are any other "criminal holds" on you. When they find the bench warrant they will hold you for the other county to come get you and return you to the court that issued the bench warrant.
Call the court or the Sheriff's Office and ask.
If an employer does a thorough background on the people it hires, it is quite possible that, if the warrant is on file under your name, they will find oout about it.
A bench warrant cannot be issued if you fail to appear in court unless the subpoena has been properly served according to the laws and court rules of the state involved. Unless it has been served it is not binding on a person even if that person knows about it.
Call your local police department - they will tell you.
You will have to be more specific as to what type of warrant you are referring to. The vast majority of bench warrants are issued for the arrest of individuals whom the issuing judge wants presented to court, and cannot be satisfied by specific monetary amounts.
Contact the GA court and (unless you already know why) determine why the bench warrant was issued. If it is something minor find out if it can be handled (pay the ticket and penalties, or whatever). If not, it may be a good idea to retain a GA attorney to handle this for you.
