I am a licensed piercer out of St. Louis. Yes it is possible to get an infection, if the piercing has not healed yet. Basicly you are dealing with an open wound. It is also possible to tear the healed or healing skin while removing jewelry. Naval piercings are the longest to heal, anywhere from 6 months to a year. I would have to know more about your piercing before giving you any professional advice as to how to care for it. I suggest going to a well established licensed shop and have someone look at it. Any professional should be able to look at it and give you the right course of action to take.
NEVER take out your piercing if it is infected. Doing so can cause an abscess. The piercing will close and trap the infection inside
Unless you just got a piercing it is very normal for the earlobe to have a hot or warm feeling to it . Otherwise your ear recently was in pain or just got hit by someone or thing. The sensation of being hot and the "distention" or "hardness" in the lobe is an indication of a possible infection. Clean the piercing under warm running water and make sure there is room between the jewellery front and the backing or the stud behind the ear. If the jewellery is too tight then the backing will need to be removed or loosened to allow you to clean the piercing correctly.
I'm assuming you're talking about a piercing... Generally, if there is irritation once the irritant is removed you should be okay. If there is also an infection, the infection should be treated, and as there is no longer an irritant there the infection should go away (provided this is what caused the infection, and provided the infection is being treated correctly).
It is generally not advisable to have your cranium removed.
No you can not. There's the risk for infection that would be too close to the womb and the vagina can also swell during the pregnancy so the piercing would hurt and need to be removed.
Definitely not
To have a piercing "off" (removed), it's best to go back to the shop you got it done & have the piercing artist who did it remove it. If something is wrong or goes wrong, chances are they can handle it there.
Once you have recovered and healed, you can eat as normal. It is possible that you will lose some of your appetite for a while, especially if there is an infection (which happened to me).
As long as there is jewellery in the piercing the piercing will not scar, it will form new tissue that makes up the piercing. If the jewellery is removed before the piercing is allowed to heal completely this tissue will join together and form scar tissue.
All piercing shrink down once the piercing is fully healed and the jewellery is removed, yes the hole is pretty much permanent.
No, but, he has had Lung Cancer Removed Recently
you don't need to. you just take the piercing out and it closes. it might take awhile but eventually the hole will close
