drop your transmission if it is a manual you have to remove the clutch and pressure plate or automatic the torque converter has to be removed and it should be right there but its hard to get out some times
sounds like a bad power stearing pump
The starter is located on the passenger side of the block, kind of hard to reach and a pain to remove.
No but they are torqued on at 125 to 130 ft. lbs and as a result, very hard to get broke loose.
I have a 2002 rodeo 2.2L 2wd 5 speed S model. Worst I have gotten is 18.7 all city. Best I have gotten is 21.1 mixed driving. Never have done an all highway drive. I have never driven hard on it either.
I had a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo and had very similar problems tothis. I eventually traced it to a rusted bulb which had shorted on the fleet turn signal because water got into it. This could happen due to a cracked lens or broken rubber seal. Check all the lights and see if one is shorting. Mine was intermittent so it was hard to trace.
I am presently going through the samething. Try changing the trans fluid and filter, it is most times recommeded after 100,000 miles.
you have to go fast and hard
You have to remove the entire light assy. There are some screws that are hard to find but they are there. accessed from the outside 3 in all use a medium length Phillips screwdriver. GoodluckJoe
